I’m Clint, from Hamilton, New Zealand.
Professionally, I’ve worked in IT for more years than I care to think about. Along the way, I’ve dabbled in, worked with, and occasionally mastered a wide range of tools and technologies. Any technical thoughts expressed here are my own, and I hope some of them prove useful to other curious people.
If you’re interested in the more technical side of what I do, have a look at open-linux.nz.
Outside of technology, I’m an older guy doing my best to live life well. Part of that has meant dealing with the challenges that come with not walking. I’ve been a wheelchair user my whole life.
I’m fortunate to have a few key people who support me, probably far more than they should. I have friends and family scattered far and wide, and I’ve met a lot of good people.
I’ve also learned that furbabies really can be family. Every cat you bring into your home has a unique personality and so much to give. Sadly, I’ve also learned that losing one can feel like losing a part of yourself. The pain may fade with time, but the memories, and the lives behind them, are never forgotten.
Some of the reflections on this site were written many years ago. Others are much more recent. In every case, I speak only for myself.
I simply want to share a few parts of myself.
